Tuesday  Chelsea and Chaylee celebrated one year on this earth.  The time has just flown by.  I can't believe that they are one.  Chelsea especially seems too little to be 1 years old.  Chaylee began walking at 10 months.  Chelsea is going to be there soon she's a little more "wobbly" than any of my others.  She's my first child to not be walking by 10 months! But I did tell themt to take their time!

This year has really been a lot easier and more fun than I had anticipated.  The Lord is sooo good!!  When first returning to South Africa for the birth of the twins and thinking of all the traveling we would have to do on furlough,  pg. and then with two newborns,  I have to admit that I was not looking forward to it.  But the Lord made it such a special time and now I look back with such fond memories!!  Robert made great effort to plan fun things during our times visiting churches in both Durban and the Cape.  Durbs was great spending time on the beach and with friends at our churches.  Cape-- we got to spend 5 weeks living at the Paadeburg camp retreat.  The kids loved living in the mountains and climbing and playing there each day.  We also got to have Louise Morrison, our future school teacher, come and spend that time with us helping with school, and just another pair of hands to help all around.  We also got to bring Winnie, our Congolese daughter with us from Congo.  The whole experience was great for her too as well as a great help to me with the children.

We looked quite funny traveling in our 6 seater Mitsubishi, Pajero with 8 people and 2 newborns piling out at each stop.  There would be bodies coming out of doors AND windows!  At one rest-stop  an older couple watched in amazement as we kept getting out of the car,  and as the last of us piled out,  the gentleman walked over to Robert and asked  "Anymore coming out of there??!!"  Then there was the fact that there were 3 ladies to 1 man and 6 kids.  What a joke!  Try picture yourself as a by-stander and figure that one out!  Having twins brought stares and coversations from all kinds of people.  It was actually amazing the amount of mothers of twins I bumped into.  All of them though would marvel at how I was able to carry my twins to 38 weeks, as most twins are premies.  I could testify to the goodness of the Lord!

Well I could go on and on, but I'll leave it at that.  My aim is to write a little here and there for posterity's sake.
